About the Workshop

This one-day workshop gives you the skills to quickly and efficiently create professional, effective, expertly formatted, and usable business documents. Whether you write e-mails, memos, reports, letters, or 500-page user guides, you will learn how to write clearly and with impact.

 

Students bring writing samples to class to immediately apply what they learn to their current documents and projects.

 

This enjoyable and informative workshop contains exercises, handouts, and-after class instructor follow up. Each person leaves the workshop up-and-running.

 

Class Material

The class material consists of:

  • Sixty-page spiral booklet highlighting the workshop material
  • Before and after writing samples exemplifying application of business writing standards
  • Quick reference flipchart containing more than 100 rules and standards covered in the workshop
  • Laminated grammar and punctuation flip cards for easy reference
